9-Day Fishing Safari, Swakopmund & Cape Cross
Below please find a proposed itinerary for a 9-Day Fishing Safari. A minimum of 2 persons per safari is required.
Destination
- Swakopmund, approximately 40km from Walvis Bay Airport. Swakopmund is a charming coastal town in Namibia. A variety of shark and non-shark species can be caught near Swakopmund. Catching a Bronze Whaler Shark proves exciting every time.
- Cape Cross, approximately 150km from Swakopmund. The Cape Cross area has a seal colony and is well known for good fishing during peak seasons for edible fish such as Silver Cob or Westcoast Steenbras.
Day 1 (arrival day, overnight Swakopmund)
- Arrival at Walvis Bay Airport.
- Transfer from Walvis Bay Airport to Swakopmund accommodation. Distance from Walvis Bay Airport – Swakopmund is approx.. 40km
- Check-in @ Swakopmund accommodation
- Remainder of afternoon & evening at leisure (activities can be arranged during afternoon, depending on flight arrival).
