- Swakopmund, a charming coastal town in Namibia, lies approximately 40km from Walvis Bay Airport. Fishing areas in this region hold a variety of fish and shark species.
- Cape Cross lies approximately 140km from Swakopmund and is well known for good fishing during peak seasons for edible fish such as Silver Cob and Westcoast Steenbras.
- Peak Fishing months: November – April
