Aquanaut Tours is located in the charming coastal town of Swakopmund, where the dedicated owner and guide, Shane Milne, has cultivated a profound love for the beach and its enchanting surroundings. His expertise has been honed through immersive experiences, spending countless hours exploring rock pools and their fascinating inhabitants. With unwavering enthusiasm, Shane meticulously observes the diverse bird and marine life that grace the shore.

His affinity for fishing blossomed at the tender age of 7 when he triumphantly reeled in his first catch using rock & surf equipment. The thrill of catching sharks captivated him at the age of 12, leading him to join a local angling club and embark on competitive angling at just 13 years old. His remarkable skills earned him a spot on the South West African (now Namibia) junior team for rock and surf angling, representing his country in an international competition held in East London, South Africa.

Over the years, Shane has continued to excel in his field, guiding top teams from Namibia and South Africa in various prestigious rock & surf and boat angling tournaments. Notably, in December 2016, his guidance led the Namibian Rock & Surf Masters to secure the coveted Gold medal in their division.
